Appointments

Appointments are released on a daily basis with some appointments reserved for forward booking by patients with transport difficulties or who have a necessity for a specific appointment time.  For all other appointments it is necessary to ring after 8.00am on the day you wish to be seen.

Reception staff may ask for an idea of the problem in order to direct you to the most appropriate Clinician.

If you want to see a specific Doctor at a certain time you may have to wait for a longer period as there are only a few pre-bookable appointments available.

Telephone appointments

If you would like to speak to the Doctor or Practice Nurse by phone then please ask the Receptionist for a telephone consultation appointment.

The Doctor or Nurse will phone you back at a convenient time, usually after Surgery.

How to make an appointment:

  • URGENT / ACUTE
  • Please contact Reception by telephone and request an appointment. In order to make an appropriate appointment with the relevant member of our team, you will be asked the reason for your request.
  • UNDER16s – children under 16 years of age with an ACUTE presentation will be offered a same day appointment (telephone or face to face).

  • Same day appointments (via telephone or in person) will be offered to patients clinically triaged as requiring an urgent assessment.
